Grosse Pointe North Girls Swimming Crushes L'Anse Creuse North 120-64

Several North swimmers also mark their season's best times.

The Grosse Pointe North Girls Swimming and Diving Team scored a 120-64 win over L'Anse Creuse North Thursday night. 

Emma Mathews and Olivia Asimakis were double winners for North.

Mathews took the 50 and 100-yard freestyle while Asimakis notched wins in the 100-yard backstroke and the 100-yard butterfly.

Single winners for North were Carrie Rakowicz in the 200-yard freestyle and Katelyn Kohler in the 100-yard breastroke.

100-yard freestyle: Emma Mathews, Julia Ellis, Allison Fly, Jillian Fenner and Ann Marie Nicholson.

100-yard breastroke: Katelyn Kohler.

100-yard butterfly: Olivia Asimakis.

North is now 3-2 (0-2 MAC Red) in dual meet competition.
