Grosse Pointe North Girls Swimming, Diving Team is 1-1

Season records were set Thursday in several events by the athletes during a meet against Livonia Stevenson.

The girls swimming and diving team dropped a 143-43 decision to Division 1 eighth-ranked Livonia Stevenson Thursday night. 

Alyson Delaney was North's sole winner, taking the one-meter diving event.

North is now 1-1 (0-0 MAC Red) in dual meet competition.

50 yard freestyle: Devon McKinley, Julia Ellis, Ann Marie Nicholson, Sarah Sherer, Jennifer Hawring, and Alison Alexsy

100 yard freestyle: Gabby Burchett, Julia Ellis, Susan Hartzell, Anna Tomovski, Kara Toma, Charlie Delaney, Caroline Schulte, and Sophia Avouris

200 yard freestyle: Gabby Burchett and Kayleigh Gehlert

500 yard freestyle: Ann Marie Nicholson

100 yard butterfly: Meghan Veltri and Anna Tomovski

200 yard individual medley: Caroline Tripp

1-meter diving: Alyson Delaney and Emily Griffith
