Grosse Pointe South advanced in dramatic fashion when Frank Welsher scored an overtime goal to give the Blue Devils a 3-2 victory over Port Huron Northern on Thursday in the Division 2 semifinals at the Compuware Arena in Plymouth.
South will play Brother Rice in the Division 2 state championship game on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Compuware Arena.
