The girls soccer team ended the Division 1 district quarterfinal in an 8-0 victory over Dearborn Edsel Ford on Tuesday night.

Sarah Ventimiglia scored the first goal nine minutes into the game to get GPS rolling.
Meg Galea scored on a penalty kick, and Elizabeth Clevenger and Danielle Manning also scored for the Blue Devils.

Grosse Pointe South (12-4-1 overall) will play Dearborn on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the district semifinals. Dearborn defeated Lincoln Park 8-0 on Tuesday.
