North Boys Swim Team Competes in Dual Meet
The Grosse Pointe North High School swim team competed against Ann Arbor Pioneer and Bedford Thursday, splitting one score and defeating the other.

The Boys Swimming and Diving Team wound up with a split decision Thursday night dropping a 132-54 decision to Ann Arbor Pioneer while defeating Bedford by a 122- 64 margin.
North had three individual winners.

- Justin Rakowicz took the 500 yard freestyle in D2 state qualifying time
- Matt Leone won the 100 yard backstroke
- James McNelis was victorious in the 1 meter diving
Season best performances were recorded in the following events:
- 50 yard freestyle: Jacob Flowers and Chris Ghanem
- 200 yard freestyle: Peter Shea
- 500 yard freestyle: Peter Shea
- 100 yard breastroke:John Hales
- 200 yard individual medley: Rhys Williams
North is now 6-5 (0-4 MAC Red) in dual meet competition.
