North Falls in Football Playoff Opener
Grosse Pointe North lost Friday to Detroit East English Village Preparatory Academy.
Detroit East English Village Preparatory Academy defeated Grosse Pointe North Friday in the first round of the MHSAA football playoffs.
The Norsemen lost 41-7, and finished the season 6-4, according to MHSAA.com.http://mhsaa.com/
Grosse Pointe still has two teams competing Saturday in the football playoffs:
- Grosse Pointe South (6-3) plays at 1 p.m. Saturday at Detroit Cass Tech (9-0)
- Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett (5-4) plays at 1 p.m. Saturday at Southfield Christian (8-1)
