The girls soccer squad from bounced back from a tough, 3-2, loss to Ike Wednesday night to oust an equally as tough Utica Ford II team, 1-0, last Friday.

The win kept the Lady Blue Devils in the thick of the division-title hunt in the Macomb Area Conference Red, trailing division-leading Eisenhower by just one game.

Now, let’s take a look (with our fingers crossed) at the week ahead.

  • -North battles South Tuesday on the baseball diamond at North beginning at 4:30 p.m.
  • -Meanwhile, Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m., the Liggett Knights baseball team plays host to a very tough Dakota High team.
  • -Also Thursday, the Lacrosse squads from and South lock horns at GPS. The game is slated to start at 7 p.m.
