South, North Players Named to All-Star Team

Several Grosse Pointe North and South football players have been named to the 2011 Detroit Free Press All-East and All-State teams.

Several players from the and football teams have been selected for the 2011 Detroit Free Press All-East team. They are:

FIRST TEAM

Offense

OL: Joe Tolliver
School: Grosse Pointe North
Class: Senior.

Defense

DB: Jon Parker
School: Grosse Pointe South
Class: Senior.

SECOND TEAM

Offense

E: Kevin Reck, Grosse Pointe South

Defense

LB: Charles Idemudia, Grosse Pointe North

Honorable mention

Receivers: Anthony Sarkis, Grosse Pointe North

Linemen: Tom Firl, Grosse Pointe South

Quarterbacks: Robby Kish, Grosse Pointe South
