STATE CHAMPS: Grosse Pointe South Rules at Track Finals

The Grosse Pointe South girls track and field team won the Division 1 state championship on Saturday.

The team won the Division 1 state finals on Saturday at Rockford.

Hannah Meier won the 800- and 1,600-meter run at the finals. Meier has the top time in the 800 (2:07.37) and 1,600 run (4:42.60) of any sophomore in the nation, according to DyeStat.com.
