The Blue Devils traveled to to square off against one of the Macomb Area Conference Red's top girls soccer teams, the Eagles.

Entering the contest, both teams were knotted at the top of the division at 1-0. 

Goals from Dani Manning and Cathy Palazzolo weren't enough to push South past the home team, which took a 2-1 lead into the the break before scoring in the opening moments of the second half to move the lead to 3-1.
