Viewfinder: Lakeview, GPN, GPS Boys Compete at Track Regionals
Grosse Pointe South hosts boys track and field regionals Friday afternoon. Lakeview placed third. The Blue Devils and Norsemen finish sixth and fifth, respectively.
The boys track squads from both and came together Friday afternoon with the hopes of advancing through the regional round of the state playoff to the finals June 4 at Rockford High School.
In the end, however, despite a strong showing from both squads, University of Detroit Jesuit walked away with the title. GPN finished in fifth place, and the Blue Devils came in sixth.
also competed in the event at South, finishing the competition in third place.
