Family Center Kicks Off Enrichment Campaign with Party on Sept. 5

The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods, the community’s main source for parenting and care-giving information, is launching a multi-year Enrichment Campaign with a Kick-Off Party on Sept. 5. The pre-glow takes place from 6-7 pm, followed by the party from 7-9:30 pm at a historic home in Grosse Pointe Farms and features fabulous food and drink, as well as entertainment and house tours.

Honorary chairs of the event are Sergio and Lora Mazza, who are hosting the party at their Tuscan villa-styled home; Family Center founder Diane Strickler and her husband Ron; Assumption Cultural Center; and Marchiori Catering.

“The Family Center is an unparalleled resource for members of the community celebrating the joys and facing the challenges of raising kids and caring for family members,” said Debbie Liedel, Family Center Executive Director. “Our varied programs and materials provide information, ideas and insight to hundreds of local families every year.”

“We are excited to launch our first, multi-year, major giving Enrichment Campaign with this event,” said Enrichment Campaign Chair and Family Center Board Vice President Allison Baker. “Our goal is to ensure that The Family Center can continue to offer innovative and effective programming for generations to come.

“We truly believe that our community is stronger when our families are strong. We hope the community will come out to support this wonderful organization and have a great time at the party,” Baker added.
