Feeling squeezed between caring for your children and elderly loved ones?
If so, you’re not alone. An increasing number of Americans find themselves caught in the “sandwich generation,” often not sure how to cope with the emotional and financial stress of being pulled in two directions.
“Taking Care While Giving Care: Coping with the Challenges of the Sandwich Generation,” presented by the Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods in partnership with Assumption Cultural Center and Senior Expo, will take place from 5:30-9 pm on Feb. 6 at the Assumption Cultural Center, 21800 Marter Road, St. Clair Shores. This free program is sponsored by ShorePointe Village. Light food and refreshments will be served.
