Council Meeting, Tech Bond Session and Other Upcoming Events This Week

Information sessions on the school tech bond, municipal meetings and unique yoga classes are among events planned this week.

Here are some events coming up this week:

  • Grosse Pointe Woods City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Agenda items include appointments and the purchase of a portable sewer line video inspection system.
  • The Grosse Pointe Public Library will hold a class at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ewald Branch on how to download e-books to an e-reader. To register, visit the library website.
  • The Grosse Pointe Public School System will host Tech Bond information sessions hosted by Superintendent Dr. Thomas Harwood and Gary Abud at the Grosse Pointe Public Library. The sessions include 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Woods Branch and 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Ewald Branch in the Park.
  • The Yoga Shelter will host aerial yoga Saturday.
