Cell Tower Proposal, "Almost Maine" Performance and GPWSLL Parade Planned This Week

Municipal meetings, a school play and a celebration for local Little Leaguers who went to the Little League World Series are among the items coming up this week.

Here are some events to add to your calendar this week:

Grosse Pointe Woods City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Among the items council will consider include a request for a wireless tower in the steeple of the Crosspointe Christian Church at 21336 Mack.
Grosse Pointe Shores City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Among the items council will consider include a harbor renovation plan submitted by the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club.
The historic Cook Schoolhouse wis the new location for the Grosse Pointe Historical Society‘s Bicknell Educational Lecture Series. The series begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Grosse Pointe North will present "Almost Maine" Friday - Sunday.
The Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League will be honored with a parade Saturday afternoon at City Hall. The ceremony will be followed by Fall Fest.
