The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House is the home of the Fords; the prominent American Family of the Ford Motor Company. The house and all 87-acres of its lake-front grounds were opened to the public in 1978. The Ford House serves as a historical reference point and showcases how the Ford family lived. Guided tours of the home and the grounds are available. The Ford House often hosts special events, classes and lectures.
