The most important cultural institution in Grosse Pointe, and probably in the Mid West. Generations of Grosse Pointers matriculated here and went on to greatness in their respective fields.

Local lore has it that the tower radiates a protective bubble around the surrounding community that repulses ignorance. While this may lack scientific credence, anecdotal evidence suggests this to be the case.
