Ahee Jewelers to Host DIA Founders Junior Council Fundraiser Dec. 13

Baubles and Bubbly - a special event to support the DIA's Founders Junior Council on Dec. 13.

  Anthony Ahee believes in supporting the arts and specifically, the Detroit Institute of Arts.  A member of DIA's Founders Junior Council (FJC), Ahee believes getting younger generations involved in Detroit's arts scene is necessary for the museum as well as for Detroit. "I think supporting the museum (DIA) is important.  Getting younger people involved in art is really vital," Ahee said.  Ahee is the third generation in his family to work in the Ahee family's internationally known jewelry business, Edmund T. Ahee Jewelers, located in Grosse Pointe Woods. "What's being done at the DIA is really first class."
