Charles Paul of Grosse Pointe Park is a National YoungArts Foundation Merit Winner in the classical Double bass division.
MIAMI, FL – Charles Paul of Grosse Pointe Park, a student at Grosse Pointe South High School, is a National YoungArts Foundation Merit Winner in the Double bass category. Chosen from approximately 10,000 applications from students in nine disciplines in the visual, literary and performing arts, he will participate in a life-changing experience provided by the National YoungArts Foundation. YoungArts winners are placed into three categories, Finalist, Honorable Mention, and Merit, and are selected through a blind adjudication process. All of the 2013 winners are eligible to participate in the Emmy-nominated HBO series YoungArts MasterClass and events in Washington, DC.
