Merry Christmas! Today is the last of our daily holiday-themed playlists.
Do you hear what I hear? It's Christmas! The gifts are under the tree, the stocking are filled and the turkey or ham is in the oven. Because we're so wrapped up in the holiday spirit, Patch has been creating playlists of Christmas music each day to help spread the cheer leading up to the big day today. So here's the deal: Each day, from today through Christmas, we've featured a uniquely different, themed Christmas music playlist. Today's theme is Children's Christmas. We've hand-picked selections from the likes of the Chipmunks, Muppets, Disney stars and other favorites. You can listen here, free and legally (via Spotify), without leaving Patch! Do you hear what I hear? Christmas carolers are making their way to local neighborhoods and A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life are starting to make the rounds on repeat on TV networks. To get in on the holiday spirit, Patch is creating playlists of Christmas music each day to help spread the cheer. So here's the deal: Each day, from today through Christmas, we'll feature a uniquely different, themed Christmas music playlist. Today's theme is Hollywood Christmas. We've hand-picked songs from some of the Christmas movie greats—with a few obscure additions. Certain December music makes us pause, sing along and feel nostalgic.
Holiday voices sing, are you listening? Songs of the season are inescapable this week – whether they bring comfort and joy or lyrics and beats that annoy. Amid the jingling and roasting, most people cherish at least a few Christmas songs – perhaps because they've been sung many times, many ways since we were young. Though it may be tough to single out a favorite, here's a chance to click on one that invariably makes you pause, turn up the volume and feel nostalgic.
