After four months of being closed during a relocation that happened rather unexpectedly, Kevin Crowther is happy to be open again--this time in a new storefront on Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods. Crowther, the owner of Crowther Carpet and Rugs, moved his business from the corner of University and Mack Avenue in the City of Grosse Pointe following an arson that destroyed Coins and Stamps earlier this year. The arson, which remains under investigation, followed a series of burglaries at the business, and Crowther said this week he believes if somone was angry enough to set that business on fire, they are likely to return.
