Wanted: Jack-O-Lantern Photos

Show fellow Patch readers your Jack-O-Lantern carving skills here. Upload your pumpkin pictures!

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! We've seen plenty around Grosse Pointe in the last several weeks on the front stoops, in the yard or hanging from trees.  Many of those have probably since been intricately carved, styled and otherwise decorated. Show off your pumpkin carving skills that will light up the night as trick-or-treaters march the sidewalks tonight. Upload photos of your Jack-O-Lanterns here.

The students dropped off dry boxed and canned foods to the center of the gymnasium, where some students worked to build a castle with the goods. This is the second year the school has conducted a food drive during Halloween celebrations, said Kerry Vlahantones, one of the event organizers. Each grade was given a specific type of food to gather. The castle is built and on display in the gymnasium while students mill around in their pairs…
