Grosse Pointe Farms Police Search for Larceny Suspect
An unknown man is suspected of stealing a gym employee's wallet from her purse during business hours.
Grosse Pointe Farms Police are looking for a man who is suspected of stealing a woman's wallet from her purse in her office in the Just Breathe gym on Kercheval. On Dec. 22, between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., an unknown male suspect casually entered the office at 130 Kercheval from the Kercheval alley breezeway, walked into the woman's office and took her wallet from her purse. He walked away from the gym northbound on Muir, Detective Bryan Ford said. The wallet was later located in some bushes at Ridge and Muir the next day, missing $40 in cash, police said. The surveillance video shows a suspect that is a white male between 5'6" and 5'9", weighing approximately 170 pounds. He had a short mustache with no other facial hair. Anyone with …
