Special Attention Given to Mason by Grosse Pointe Woods Police

The school on Vernier Road is still receiving special attention as a precaution, Yonkowski said, but detectives believe the caller was "getting satisfaction out of talking to the school members and saying what he said," Yonkowski said.  Officers provided extra security Wednesday during dismissal, he said, and are continuing to give it special attention. The calls were blocked and from what the employees were able to describe, police believe the man was simply making prank calls, Yonkowski said. School employees …

What is wrong with you dumbasses? Your really complaining about people trying to keep your kids safe, and teachers getting overtime pay?? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If I was one of those teachers I would more than happy to be keeping my students safe. Its not about bullets flying in, its about all around safety for the kids.   more ›
