Annual Fall Concert and fundraising event, Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m.

Grosse Pointe South Band & Orchestra presents its annual Fall concert and fundraising event, Pops & Pastries, Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m.  Please join us at the Main Gymnasium to welcome Christopher Takis in his inaugural concert as Director of Bands at South High School, with unlimited pastries, a tin-can auction and 50-50 raffle.  This year's theme, "A Salute to Disney," was chosen in conjunction with the music department's Spring trip to Disney Land, California. Proceeds will help reduce the cost of the trip and enable more performers to attend.  Musical highlights include selections from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean, Up!, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000 and The Nightmare …
