Wild Birds Unlimited in Grosse Pointe Woods to move two blocks down Mack Avenue to its new location on Feb. 1.

  Wild Birds Unlimited is moving from its present location at 20485 Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods, down two blocks south to 20381 Mack Avenue. The new Wild Birds store will occupy the former South Beach tanning salon next to TCBY. The store has been located at its current address for 15 years. Anticipating that her son, Ryan, will take over the business someday, Kolvacik wanted to purchase a building for the store.  Her current location is not for sale and the lease expires at the end of January.  After hunting for a store space to buy, Kolvacik said she is very fortunate to find her new space with a lease/purchase option.
