A franchise specializing in year-round swim lessons for children is asking for input from families in the Grosse Pointes and St. Clair Shores to determine whether such a business in the area would be beneficial.
A year-round swim school located in five other Michigan cities is asking for input from parents in the Grosse Pointes and St. Clair Shores about whether having a franchise in the area would be beneficial. Goldfish Swim School is trying to gain as much feedback as possible while researching whether to open a location in the Grosse Pointe-St. Clair Shores area, according to a letter recently given to parents at Assumption Nursery School. Parents are asked in the letter to complete a short survey online, which is estimated to take about two minutes. Along with the survey, parents are asked to express how they would feel about having a Goldfish location in the area. Opening a location nearby would be an estimated investment of about $1 million…

Neighborhood Club also has a curriculum and it is year round and has warm water and makes swimming fun. Sounds a little familiar. The Neighborhood Club just opened in the Village of Grosse Pointe and they offer the same exact services, but for a better price and have the same certifications as Goldfish. Seems like it may be a waste of a million dollars to provide the same exact service.   more ›
