Shores Police Chief Offers Tips for Vacation
The Grosse Pointe Shores Director of Public Safety offers a variety of tips to residents in the wake of three burglaries this month in which vacant homes are being targeted.
As the investigation into three home burglaries in Grosse Pointe Shores continues, the Director of Public Safety, John Schulte, offers some tips for residents who may be away from their homes for extended time. There have been three burglaries police believe are related and have been committed by the same group of people. Shores police have asked residents to call 911 if they see anything suspicious as the suspects are believed to be casing homes during the day and returning at night--focusing on homes where they believe no one is home.
