Christine Thigpen, Neighbor

I was born in Detroit, but raised in Nashville and consider myself a Southern Girl in the Midwest. I received a BS in Journalism from the University of Tennessee. I also have a Master's in K-6 teaching and a second Master's in Educational Leadership and taught elementary school for a few years. We moved to Michigan five years ago so that my husband could attend University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He is currently a Resident Physician in Detroit, which resulted in our move to Grosse Pointe Woods last July with our four-year-old and two-year-old boys. I am currently a stay at home mom and love every minute of it. I enjoy being active in the community through groups like The Grosse Pointe Moms Club and am always looking for new things to be a part of!
