Hi! My name is Liz and I am a life-long resident of Grosse Pointe.  Richard Elementary, Brownell Middle , and South High are my alma maters.  I am a proud graduate of Albion College (IO TRIUMPHE! haben swaben rebecca ... ) and received my M.A. in History from Loyola University Chicago.  Although I often miss Chicago, Grosse Pointe is definitely home.  I've worked on The Hill for 4 years.  I am an avid runner, and it is almost a guarentee you'll find me running up Lakeshore from Fisher Road towards Provencal.   With two history degrees, I've been itching to research and write--what a joy that my subject matter is now my very own hometown.  Visit patch for weekly columns!
