Currently attending Nursing school at Macomb Community College, Kate was born and raised in Grosse Pointe Farms. She attended Grosse Pointe South, graduating in 2004. From there, she attended Michigan State University and graduated in 2008. She was antsy to travel, and moved to California for about a year and a half and worked a few different jobs from an Assistant Medical Director to directing her own therapeutic horseback riding program at a camp for kids with cancer.

Over time, she got tired of California living (some say it's hard to believe), she missed Lake St. Clair and her family, so she headed back to her roots.

She is an avid traveler, having been to 16 countries so far and still counting. She will be graduating Nursing school in May 2013 and hopes to work at one of the local hospitals. In her very little free time, she loves photography, boating, running along the lake, and brainstorming and inventing new designs for her family's local business.
