Contest: Build a Snowman, You Could Win $100

The Spirit of Women of Beaumont Grosse Pointe is offering a $100 Visa gift card to the person who builds the best snowman now through midnight Thursday, Feb. 16. Upload your photo to this article to win!

With the expected snowfall Friday and early Saturday, the Spirit of Women of Beaumont Grosse Pointe are encouraging outdoor, heart-healthy activity.

As an incentive, the organization will award a $100 Visa gift card to one winner who uploads their photo to this Patch article. The contest, Friday Feb. 10 and submissions will be accepted through midnight Thursday Feb. 16. The winner will be chose in a random drawing.

Build a snowman and be creative, then grab a snapshot of those who helped build it along with the snowman, of course. Upload it to this story with the names of those pictured as well as the community in which the picture was taken.

The idea behind the contest is to encourage the community to get some fresh air and exercise all the while having some family fun in the snow.

  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
  • To enter, upload a snowman photo to this article. Please include the names of those pictured as well as the community in which the picture was take.
  • All entries must be received by midnight EST Feb. 16, 2012.
  • You may enter once.
  • One winner will be selected in a random drawing.
  • The Spirit of Women of Grosse Pointe Beaumont will give a $100 Visa giftcard to the winner. The prize is valued at $100.

The Spirit of Women is an organization that focuses on women's health with an emphasis on having fun while staying healthy. They offer several events each year encouraging fun ways to be healthy and lead a healthy lifestyle. The next event is the Day of Dance on Saturday Feb. 25, during which patients are encouraged to dance with their doctors.
