Renovations Underway At The Former Caribou Coffee In The Village

The former Caribou Coffee in the Village is being renovated into a Peet's Coffee and Tea.

Crews are currently working on renovating the former Caribou Coffee in the Village into a Peet's Coffee and Tea.

According to a story in The Detroit News, Peet's was purchased for $1 billion by Joh. A. Benckiser Group, which bought both Caribou and Peet’s coffeehouses. The company closed a number Caribou Coffee houses including the Grosse Pointe Woods location. The stores that were not closed, are in the process of being turned into Peet's coffeehouses.
