General Election Guide for the Grosse Pointes

All five of the Grosse Pointes have elections Tuesday.

Tuesday is election day in the Grosse Pointes. Each community has an election, but only two are contested. Here is information to be prepared when heading to the polls.

Below are the locations of the voting precincts for each of the Grosse Pointe cities.  

Grosse Pointe Woods:

City Council (three open seats)
  • Vicki Granger (incumbent) 
  • Kevin Ketels (incumbent) 
  • Todd McConaghy (incumbent)

  • Precinct 1 Ferry School - 748 Roslyn Road
  • Precinct 2 Mason School - 1640 Vernier Road
  • Precinct 3 Parcells School - 20600 Mack
  • Precinct 4 City Hall Community Center - 20025 Mack
  • Precinct 5 Monteith School - 1275 Cook Road
  • Precinct 6 Barnes School - 20090 Morningside Drive

Grosse Pointe Shores voters vote at the following locations:

  • Wayne County residents: Grosse Pointe Shores Municipal Building, 795 Lake Shore Road.
  • Macomb County residents : Edsel & Eleanor Ford House - Gate House, 1100 Lake Shore Road.

Voting Poll Hours for all Elections: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Electors must vote at their designated precinct location.

Precinct 2 Richard Elementary School, 176 McKinley Road 

Precinct 3 City Hall - Fire Station, 90 Kerby Road 

Precinct 4 Kerby School, 285 Kerby Road 

Precinct 5 Brownell Middle School, 260 Chalfonte Avenue
