Incumbents Return to Office in the Grosse Pointes

Voters returned incumbents to office in contested elections in the Grosse Pointes.

Voters in the three contested races in the Grosse Pointes returned the incumbents to office Tuesday, according to unofficial results.

Incumbents Vicki Granger, Kevin Ketels and Todd McConaghy held off a challenge from Robert Sheehy in Grosse Pointe Woods.

Grosse Pointe Farms/Shores Municipal Judge Matthew R. Rumora defeated challenger Matthew M. Peck to retain his seat on the bench.

Voters in Grosse Pointe Farms also returned incumbents Louis Theros, Peter Waldemeier and Martin West to office. Elizabeth Vogel lost her bid for Grosse Pointe Farms City Council by only 42 votes.

Grosse Pointe City, Grosse Pointe Park and Grosse Pointe Shores had uncontested elections.
