'Blue Mass' at Our Lady Star of the Sea

Law enforecement personnel, firefighters, emergency responders and their support staffs -- people of all faiths -- are invited to the Mass.  Monsignor Gary Smetanka will preside at the liturgy, which also wll commemorate the 12th anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy.  'Blue Mass' describes this celebration because of the color uniform traditionally work by such personnel.  Dress uniforms are encouraged, and participants are asked to meet in the indoor garheriing space at 11:15 to form a procession into church.
