Home on Barclay Burglarized During Daytime in Grosse Pointe Farms

Residents returned home to find a door unlocked Thursday. A computer and a bicycle were stolen.

Grosse Pointe Farms police are investigating the burglary of a home on Barclay that happened Wednesday afternoon. 
The residents left their house in the 400 block of Barclay about 11:30 a.m. and returned shortly after 5 p.m. 
When they got home, they discovered a door was unlocked and found their computer missing from their dining room table, according to a report. 
They later discovered a bicycle was missing from the garage, according to a report. 
The couple did not have any idea of who may have stolen the items and the rest of the house appeared to have been untouched, according to a report. 
They had recently hired a solicitor to clean their windows as had several neighbors.
No one in the area reported seeing anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, according to a report. 
A detective processed the scene.
