Grosse Pointe Toys for Tots Fundraiser Collects Hundreds of Toys

Black-tie event at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial collects hundreds of toys for Toys for Tots

Hundreds of toys were donated at the annual Toys for Tots celebration on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial.   More than 300 people attended the event that was black-tie optional.  

The event was chaired by two couples:   David and Janet Cornillie and Donna and Brian Satterfield.

United States Marines attending the event on behalf of the Toys for Tots Foundation were: LtCol Benjamin Stinson, LtCol Eric Hamstra, 1stSgt David Auwen, Cpl Patrick Block and LCpl Adam Richey.
