We Hate to Say It ... But There's a Winter Storm Watch for Sunday

Get your ice scrapers ready! The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.

It hurts us just to type these words: Snow, freezing rain and sleet.

The National Weather Service has all three on the forecast for Sunday afternoon into Monday morning for the Pointes.

The precipitation is expected to start after noon Sunday. The chance of precipitation is about 90 percent, with about 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet expected.

Ring in Presidents Day with more snow until about 1 p.m., probably just about a half inch. There's a 60 percent chance of snow that day.
