Grosse Pointe South's Fall Follies Open Nov. 2

South will hold its annual song and dance extravaganza at the Grosse Pointe Performing Arts Center on Friday and Saturday

Fall is in full swing--and dance--at this weekend's show at the Grosse Pointe Performing Arts Center (707 Vernier in Grosse Pointe Woods, next to GP North High School) as the Grosse Pointe South Show choir presents Fall Follies, their annual extravaganza of music and fun.

Fall Follies 2012 will be a night of the same sheer entertainment, color and amazing performance that has defined Grosse Pointe South's show choir for years. In fact, many of the former students who participated in the program over the years will be in attendance and will be honored with an alumni reception following Saturday's performance.

Under the direction of new South choir teacher and music director, Chris Pratt, this year's show will include music from many popular musicals. Plus, incredible solo and ensembles featuring South Choir students.

This is Pratt's first full show as Choir Director at South after taking on the position in August. Previously, he was Director of Choirs at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN, where his choirs and singing groups won numerous national competitions. For a complete bio of Pratt and more visit the Grosse Pointe South choir website.
