Man Accused of Streaking Down Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods Arraigned

A man accused of running naked down Mack Avenue was arraigned in Grosse Pointe Woods Municipal Court on Thursday.

Jeffrey Thompson, 30, of Livonia, stood mute to charges of public nudity, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to a report in the Detroit News. He could face 93 days jail if found guilty.

Metry set a bond and ordered Thompson to take a series of drug tests, according to the Free Press. His lawyer, Samuel Gun, will meet with the city attorney June 13 to try to reach an agreement and keep the case from going to trial.

After the incident, Grosse Pointe Woods officers said and was seeking help from the officer. He told officers that he recognized that he was paranoid and did not like the feeling of the high from the meth, which is why he approached the officer, Detective Sgt. Ray Yonkowski told Patch in April. Officers used a Taser to subdue Thompson.
