Grosse Pointe North Boys Swimming Drop to L'Anse Creuse

Patrick Turnbull takes first place in the 100-yard freestyle.

The Grosse Pointe North Boys Swimming and Diving Team dropped a 121.5 to 63.5 decision to L'Anse Creuse Tuesday night.

Patrick Turnbull was North's sole first place winner taking the 100-yard freestyle.

Season best performance werre recorded in the following events:

50-yard freestyle: Matt Stander

100-yard freestyle: Patrick Turnbull, A.J. Owens

200-yard freestyle: Danny MacAskill, Jacob Flowers

100-yard backstroke: Mathew Leone, Alex Owens, John Leone

100-yard breastroke: Matt Stander, John Hales, Michael Reith

100-yard butterfly: Michael Lemanske

200-yard individual medley: Alex Owens, John Leone

1-meter diving: William McNelis

North is now 1-1 ( 0-0 MAC Red ) in dual meet competition.
